Capitalizing on one of the regions greatest resources---the wind,
northern Montana is poised to become the State of Montana’s and western United
States leading renewable energy region. 140 wind turbines have now been
completed at the Glacier Wind Farm with over 200 additional wind turbines
planned for the second wind farm call Rim Rock. Located on the borders of Toole
and Glacier Counties, these projects will provide tremendous tax revenues,
employment opportunities and economic growth in the region.
